The Owners

Purchased in 2001 by owners Kevin and Tammy Matthews, long-time Chapel Hill residents, buying the shop has been a dream come true for the couple. Kevin has always had a passion for automobiles and attended vocation school with the hope of working in the industry. Having started out in the Collision Repair industry as a paint specialist, in both painting and working as a paint representative for repair shops, the shop has allowed him to truly indulge his passion for great auto body repair. Tammy’s expertise in running and improving the shop has set Elite above and beyond other local auto body repair shops. With her love of constantly improving the customer experience, Tammy has created a truly unique customer service experience at Elite. We provide free WIFI, music, and coffee. Tammy has made Elite Auto Body a place that customers actually love to be.

The Staff

Elite’s fully qualified and highly experienced staff is specially chosen for their love of providing excellence in both collision and general auto repair.The shop boasts 10 service bays spread out over three buildings, along with a separate detailing shop.
